I now have an Etsy shop!
Finally, after years of meaning to, I have an Etsy shop. I opened my store three days ago, and within four hours of opening I had my first sale. I'm feeling encouraged.

Anyway, I would love feedback if you're so inclined.

Yeah, I know, I'll need a new banner...

Thank you for the warm fuzzies. Did you ever get a chance to see the guitar pick that you purchased from ebay?

And by the way, even though I never comment there, I must confess to spending time, when I get a chance, gawking at your Flickr gallery. You're my only friend there so you always pop up on the main page. Now I'm thinking that you should always be my only friend there because you have such a great eye and interesting ideas. :)

And PS: your eye and interesting ideas make me feel especially honored that you like my work.

Oh, so exciting.

I now have it bookmarked and will check in often to see what's new. Hopefully the stars will shine brightly for your new store!

Kevin,

You know, you were the first person who ever ordered a custom piece from me and here you are continuing with the encouragement. Thanks! :)

Funny how things work out, isn't it? How someone all the way across the nation in ol' Pittsburgh could find you and your handiwork and try my darnedest to find reasons to buy things.

The girl who I ordered the piece for, well, that ended some time ago (wow, that was 2-3 years ago that ended), yet I still keep my eye open for new items. I like to think of this as my own little personal tradition I'd like to keep up that when I meet someone (someone who is sticking around, y'know) I will try to get them something from your shop that fits their personality. Everyone wins!

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people do what they love and I try above all else to provide business to small/independent/private businesses. Buy local, or at least personally!

You never know, now that I'm finally done with college and have a big person job (well, enough of one - substitute teaching this year, hopefully landing a real position in the fall), I'm a bit more serious about finding a partner for life and, well, you never know. Your wonderful services may be needed again.

Good luck with the store, I wish only the best for you and the family.

-Kevin
